Hey there! First off, thanks for taking questions and being accessible to the community. And printing great manga. Second, does Vertical have any plans/interest in licensing/publishing the work of Tetsuro Ueyama (Tengu GIrl, Lampo they Hypersonic Boy, Solevision Mitsuyoshi)? I work in American comics and animation, and while a lot of us working in the states are fans of his art, no one is translating his comics. Anyway, sorry if this is The Worst Kind Of Ask. And yup, tough of ASK cause I cannot answer if we have any interest or plans. If we did then we’d jeopardize the contract for leaking it before all sides approved of it.

I mean if you were working on a comics/animation project and had a NDA/CDA (as most negotiations are) some of those privy to the deal possibly wouldn’t be happy if word randomly leaked when the deal wasn’t all settled or collaborators weren’t on the same page.

But let me say this… Some of those books are from Japanese publishers we do not have access to so those books are out.

And please save recommendations for our surveys. We just had one a few weeks ago. That’s the best place to get us to check things out.
