So I just found out that CR Manga picked up Demi-Human but at the same time, you guys are going to publish the physical release too, right? Do you guys have any relation to CR concerning Demi-Human? Do you also know if the catalouge chapters will be made unavailable as you release each book?

Yes. We will be publishing the print edition in Fall 2014.
Yes. We had the license to AJIN: Demi-Human since Fall 2013. And we were informed by our parent company Kodansha that they would be simulpub-ing the manga digitally through their partnership with CrunchyRoll. Therefore, we were allowed to suggest the translator and letterer for the series (both of which have been Vertical staff and are currently Vertical freelancers based in Japan).
Things might change, but most chapters should be removed once the print editions that cover those chapters are available for sale. We should be able to keep the first chapter up for preview purposes.
