Have you considered publishing any heta-uma (King Terry, Yoshikazu Ebisu, Yusaku Hanakuma, etc)?
No. Not at all.
To be honest, heta-uma titles due to their extremely small perceived readership would be impossible for us at this point in time. While we are trending towards profitability, we are still far far away from taking on projects of this nature.
Also after looking at numbers from Picturebox… It’d be extremely difficult for any manga publisher without a pure indie comix background to properly tackle. I think there could be some crossover there but I’ve got to say, we don’t have those connections (or if we do, that audience sure isn’t making itself visible to us online or at cons).
